The ACT
Every year, the Midway School District provides a free district assessment to all Juniors and Seniors that decide to sign up. This test typically takes place in Late March or Early April, and sign-up instructions are sent to students in January.
If a student would like to take the test sooner than the school district test, or if they would like to retake the test, they can signup for the ACT on their own. The test and registration dates can be found here or on the ACT website. Please note, the individual sessions are not provided by the school, and currently cost $60 to register. If you need help registering for the ACT test, please contact Mr. Stackhouse.
Students with indicators of economic need are eligible to take the ACT for free. If you are eligible, contact Mr. Stackhouse to receive a fee waiver. Click Here for the ACT Fee Waiver Eligibility Requirements!

According to the policy, a block of 42 credit hours must be allowed to transfer to any public college or university in the state of Missouri. This policy is meant to reduce the need to retake courses, and directly benefits any student wanting to take Dual Credit classes in high school, but are unsure of where they want to go to college. Please see the table below for the credits that apply to the CORE 42 Rule. If you have any questions, reach out to Mr. Stackhouse.
