Mr. Dean is a graduate of Midway High School.  After spending 16 years teaching in the classroom and coaching football and basketball in the high school, Mr. Dean was hired as the Elementary Principal for the 2018-2019 school year.  

Mr. Dean is married to Jennifer Dean, a junior high math teacher at Midway, and has four children who have also attended or are attending Midway currently.  

Mr. Dean has always been proud of Midway's small school environment and the unique educational experience that Midway and it's staff are able to provide its students.  The family atmosphere found throughout the school is something that can not be duplicated in any other way.
