QUALIFICATIONS:
- Elementary teaching experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education preferred.

SUMMARY:
Midway R-I School District is seeking talented Educators with a broad base of knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy to create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. The teacher needs to be able to establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom; to motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.

Pay and Benefits: $18-$20/hour, Dependent on Qualifications, Experience

Schedule: This is a full-time position with daytime working hours. Some work outside of normal hours may
periodically occur.
Job Description Summary: Maintains and services district buildings and equipment, may perform basic custodial
duties periodically. The well-rounded candidate has at least basic knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
structural, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, masonry, flooring, vehicle maintenance, custodial.
Special Requirments: The employee should be conscientious, dependable, and prompt, be in good
health, able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and have good personal hygiene. Standing, bending, squatting, reaching,
stooping, pulling, and pushing will be required. Cleaning of blood, human waste and other biological fluids,
handling cleaning chemicals, and working in unsanitary environments may be occasionally required.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with trade or technical school, or
construction trade experience preferred. Institutional experience is desirable but not necessary .

Substitute Custodian
Pay and Benefits: $15/hour
Schedule: This is an as-needed position without a set schedule.Job Summary: Cleans and services campus building areas. Performs a variety of custodial duties to maintain the campus in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Requires the use of mops, buckets, wringers, carts, vacuums, buffers, ladders, dusters, rags, cleaning chemicals, and other items necessary to accomplish the cleaning assignments.
